Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Davidson, and I teach third grade at Showell Elementary in Berlin, Maryland. I attended Showell when I was in third grade, and it just so happens that the garden outside my classroom, I planted while attending Showell as a student! I had many lasting memories and learning experiences at Showell, and I hope to continue this with my students. The main photo you see was taken during the kick off of our Health Literacy Unit. The students created their own questions based off of a health statistic. Then, they labeled the questions opened or closed. The students then selected a few of their strongest questions, so the questions could drive our instruction throughout the unit. This strategy helps students stay engaged and motivated throughout units, to find the answers to their questions! Students are our future, and we appreciate you making our future brighter! Thank you for your support!
