With fourth graders, sometimes it is challenging for them to get excited to practice their math. I want a space where they can go to complete their work that is more fun than a regular student chair. I want them to get excited when it's time for them to do their math work. These fun chairs are a great way for them to be happier while doing math. It is a relaxing and fun way for them to keep practicing their math work all year long! They will be excited and want to do math because it will be our "math chair". This transcends into how they feel about my classroom in general. They will know that I want them excited to come to class, but most of all feel comfortable and happy while doing math work.
