Having an aquarium in a marine science classroom goes together like peanut butter & jelly (or mac and cheese if you're allergic to peanut butter). I would love for my students to be able to see some wildlife that we talk about in class. If our classroom had a saltwater tank I believe I could spark the students' interest and keep them engaged more than I could before. The ocean is such an important part of our environment and world, I would love to bring a piece of it to our classroom to inspire students. This saltwater tank will give students the opportunity to do some firsthand scientific observation which is always the first step to scientific inquiry. Thank you for allowing the next generation to love the ocean through a saltwater tank in their marine science classroom.
