The guided reading books are greatly needed in my classroom because my students are on various reading levels. Our resource room is stocked with books on levels in which my students are not able to read independently yet. Therefore, I am seeking funding for books on their lexile levels in which they can read independently or in a small group. Having books on their level at their fingertips will also allow my students to feel a sense of success by reading and comprehending the books. The beanbags will be useful for creating my small groups. The students will be able to read in partners, small groups, and individually using them. The headphones are needed to create a small listening station. Those students on the beginning reading level will have the opportunity to listen to stories on their devices. Lastly, the snacks are needed to reward the students who show progress in reaching their AR goals.
