Due to no fault of their own, many of my students lack literacy materials (books, magazines, and newspapers) in their homes. The books will be a way to change this for them What better way to keep them engaged in reading than providing them books of their very own? The children will be excited to have their very own books to be able to read and be read to in the comfort of their home...bringing some familiarity from school into their home.
