I am desperate seeking Chromebooks for my students. I have 3 Chromebooks now, and have 34 students in my class at varying levels of ability. Chromebooks would help us especially in writing and math to meet those various needs. In math, we have math programs that support our math core but we don't utilize it as much as we need or want to because we don't have the technology to support it. As I mentioned earlier, I have a large class with many ranges of ability. Chromebooks would help challenge my accelerated math students as they work to enrich their skills. This enable me to work more closely with my struggling math students. Then my struggling students can use the technology to reinforce and practice the skills taught while I work with my enrichment students. In writing, I want to teach my students how technology can support them by being able to do research and writing in all curricular areas. For example, we are learning about Early Exploration of the United States in Social Studies. My students want to do technology presentations about their learning and present it to our class, but again, because we are so limited with only 3 Chromebooks right now, its just not possible.
