These books will make a huge difference for our students! Up to this point, we've only been using photocopies of the books required by our curriculum. Having actual books will completely change how students view reading! The difference between holding a book in your hand versus holding a stapled packet can't be understated. I want my students to love reading, but even I find that challenging when forced to read from bland, black and white paper copies. We often read aloud from our books in class, and students have required reading at home as well. Students take their assignments much more seriously having actual books, and are far more excited about learning!
