I currently teach the leadership class which emphasizes developing communication skills, cooperative learning, creativity and organizational skills, fairness, service, and integrity. I focus on these attributes so that when the time comes for them to go off into the world, they will not only know what to do and how to do it well, but most importantly, who to be. I consider this one of my greatest callings in this life because they are the future, they are our future! Almost of all my students come from diverse and challenging backgrounds, yet they continue to overcome barriers with positivity and strength. They have bright futures!
