My students come from a low socioeconomic background and are lacking in a lot of basic background and common knowledge that other students have. I have found in the past that this source has current events and world information that the students are interested in both online and in the classroom, however, my school district is low on funds at the moment and doesn't have money for additional resources. I have found that when these students learn more about the world around them the better they can deal with their own situations by making a real world that will positively affect their lives.

About my class
