Many of our students do not exercise outside of the school day. My kindergarten-8th grade students love to use technology to learn about nutrition, healthy habits, and fitness. They also love to use the Wii to compete with each for bragging rights as the best at each sport. The projector, screen, and speakers will help give my students the necessary tools to exercise daily. This equipment will enable me to share videos about nutrition, positive habits, and healthy lifestyles as well as allowing students to use the Wii and computer to learn about and virtually practice sports that they could not play in person. It will also build self esteem, healthy self images, and the confidence needed to remain active as adults.
