We use technology in the classroom everyday. My students have iPads and Chromebooks that we use in Math and English. We have online programs in both subjects that the students are using to decrease their gaps in education. The headphones allows the students to use the online programs and work at their own pace. With the headphones, my special education students will be able to have assignments read aloud, my ADHD students will have less distractions when they are working, and even my advanced students can work independent and continue to grow as a student. We are an urban school where many of our students cannot afford a pair of headphones to bring to school and I would like to help my students have one less thing to worry about.
