Math Class: My students are a mix of 6th-8th graders. I teach Math 7, Math 8 and Study Skills. Art Club: This year I am starting a new club on campus--ART CLUB! The club is open to all Holland Middle School Students and we meet after school, once a week for about 30 minutes. While we are starting small with a club of about 12 students, we are hoping to one day be an elective offered during the school day. I have written a proposal to my administration and will be working during the year to get a new course approved by the District. Until then, I am happy to share my love of art with the Art Club. I have gathered some materials of my own, found a few things on campus, and have had teachers donate some art items to help our club get started. We have no funding at the moment, but students are excited to host fundraisers so that we can buy supplies and hopefully go on a field trip!
