What makes a place? Where are other cities, states countries and regions and what are they like? As we explore about the world we live in, we will go in depth learning about economies, trade, regional agreements and challenges. We will explore culture as we look at religion, cuisine, sports, education, entertainment, festivals, music and other practices. These seven Chromebooks will allow my students to view and explore a vast array of maps, facts, news and articles about land, people, culture, history and other aspects of geography at the click of a button. We will see what different forms of government look like and how that effects the citizens of a country. We will compare and contrast living conditions, job markets and educational opportunities all around the world. With modern tools of exploration, we will become geographers.
