The students in my class, Rock the Doc, create short documentaries on a variety of topics that interest them. This quarter, they will be creating films to enter into the C-SPAN StudentCam competition, where submissions will be on the theme of "The Constitution and You". Currently, they are using IPad Minis to edit their films, which is difficult because of the size of the device. It is easy to make mistakes and students spend a lot of time feeling frustrated by the editing process. The Mac Mini will change all of that! Students will be able to edit on a bigger screen, and will have the help of the keyboard and mouse. This will give our old desktop computers new life and turn them into a powerful moving making machine!
