An extra camera will increase the ability of my students to capture the moments that matter to them throughout the year, to create a better yearbook each year, and will enable me to more easily teach them photography skills. Right now, we have only one camera, supplemented only by my own camera from home, which I have had to use or loan on several occasions to ensure we could photograph events, games, etc. I want to put a camera in the hands of every student on staff, and put the entire staff at the helm of the yearbook. I want our yearbook to be about the students capturing the moments that matter and creating a yearbook that emphasizes what they want to remember about their high school days.
