Students will use their video skills and tools to create a 3 minute documentary video that documents the strengths and challenges that they encounter as they work towards becoming healthy young adults. The project will engage adolescents to research issues of relevance such as: cyber-bulling, growing up in a poverty stricken area, self esteem, taking care of their bodies, and education as they transition into adulthood. Students will get to witness and experience the process of creating a film by: storyboarding, editing, and camera shooting. Students will research reputable sources, field experts , interview other youths, teachers, family and present their views and research to their school community.
