I am asking for learning games to give my students a new way to look at learning. The phonics and sight word bingo will give them chances to challenge each other and push their skills to mastery. The sight word and math fluency puzzles are for my independent hands on learners to keep them engaged when their finish their classwork. While the pocket chart stand is to help my students be able to reach the chart better while working on their CVC cards. My students are still working on learning English. While my students are able to speak fluently in English, it does not mean they can read or write in English and getting these learning games and pocket charts will allow them to be more engaged. The Ready to Write Prompt box will give more opportunities to practice their writing independently. I plan on using these items to push my students to mastery with reading. While we learn our letters and sounds in Kindergarten that is not always when you master these skills. I have my English Language Learners who are just hearing English for the first time and trying to master a new language while trying to read with their peers. Keeping the activities hands on and engaging I hope to help push all my students to the needed mastery level to move to second grade.
