My students are ready for kindergarten but are not quite armed with the adequate resources to become strong, flourishing readers. The end of year goal for all of my students is that they fall in love with reading. I will do my best to make sure that my students are given the best education possible so that they can better learn how to read. In order to be successful, my students also need books in the classroom to help reinforce this learning. These books will be used during our independent time when students get to choose what they want to do. My hope is that having a wide variety of leveled books will inspire students to pick up a book and spend their time reading. It is also my hope that this drive to read creates a strong foundation for all future learning for my students.
