Having more chromebooks in my classroom will provide students easier access to technology. My students will have more time to learn how to use computers, to type, and to learn about topics interesting to them. Having more chromebooks will allow me to personalize each students education. This will happen through programs such as Lexia, Dream Box, Moby Max, Reading Plus, and Study Island. These are progams funded by school but, limited technology effects my student's access to these. Students will also benefit from having more access to Google Classroom; which they love! Google Classroom also cuts down on the numbers of copies I make each week, thus reducing our carbon footprint on the world. Having Chromebooks that belong to our class will excite my students about learning and teach them responsibility for using and caring for technology. Please help my students and our future leaders have the technology they deserve for learning.
