Currently, we are using poster paper or cut up shower boards to write on during our guided reading group time. It makes it extremely difficult to juggle between poster paper that doesn't stick to the brick wall and cut up shower boards that display our group discussions while teaching. Often times, students are unable to see the materials well or see the "whole picture" of what is being taught. Donations to my project will give students the opportunity to become better engaged. With the large, hanging dry erase board, I can hang up anchor charts and write student responses and classroom discussions all at the same time. To some people this may not seem like a big deal, but in my classroom, it will be huge!
