The wobble stools offer my scholars the opportunity to make choices involving their daily learning environment. These type of choices will be impacted by the shifting learning mode they are in on a daily bases. As many of my student struggle with hyperactivity, these stools will also provide the adequate stimulation required to assist with focus and fidgeting. All learners deserve a voice in their optimal learning setting. Oftentimes young learners would be more successful if they felt they had some input in how they approached their work space each day. Our classroom is quite small as you can see. So movement is limited, still quite neccessary. With this thought in mind, my students will be given options of flexible seating with the wobble chairs and several other options like stability balls and butterfly classroom library seats as they are acquired.
