My primary focus is to help students develop organizational skills that will carry over into adulthood. My students come from low income families where most parents are not able to provide essential items needed for students to be successful in the classroom. My studetns struggle maintaining organization with their assignments and projects. Several students are struggling with keeping up with their homework and it is causing them to receive failing grades for not completing their homework. My students want to do well and be successful in class but the organization factor has been a real struggle for them in order to prepare them for their future as working adults.
