All students are different; All have different abilities and work at different rates, thus affecting the amount of time needed to complete projects. When artists are completed with their project ahead of others, they have a few choices of activities in the art room. One such choice is free draw time. I want to give my practicing artists some structure during this time and one way to do that is by providing them with how-to-draw books so that they can practice those drawing skills. My student already really enjoy using the couple of how-to-draw books that I already have available for them in the artroom. The how-to-draw books, origami books, and paper, will be organized in the shelving unit so that an 'early finisher' area is created for students to go to when they have completed their art project earlier than others.
