KEVA building planks will add the chance for my students to explore their creative mind and enhance their problem solving techniques. My students will be able to use these planks to explore the realm of STEM activities by developing clever and personalized contraptions and structures. These planks will allow my students creativity to run free and help them think more abstractly rather than concretely. Implementing problem solving, collaboration, hands on learning, and creativity will allow my students to be more engaged in class and deepen their understanding on the fundamentals of mathematics and science. Using these planks, my students will be exploring multiple content areas such as reading, social studies, science, math, and social skills. Allowing students to express their own individualized creativity is extremely important because it allows for student choice, accountability, and authenticity which promotes a deeper understanding.
