With the ever-changing world of education and how kiddos learn nowadays, it is important to me as a teacher to make sure that all students are comfortable within my classroom. Students want to feel heard, safe, and respected within their learning environment and it is my job as their teacher to make that happen. In order to do that, I want to make changes in my room by offering flexible seating to my students that will fit their needs. Flexible seating has students be responsible for their learning and make choices that they feel will benefit them. At this point, students already make choices to lay around my room when we're reading stories aloud. However, I want to take it one step further and offer additional seating options that will have them feeling more engaged with their learning. The products that I have selected will fulfill this ambition.
