Having a printer in the classroom will help me be able to make the necessary material that my classroom lacks. Because we are a rural district, our campus budget is limited to how much paper, ink, and toner the we can buy. This then limits how much and what I can print to make classroom materials. I currently need to make the entire Geometry nomenclature cards, math word problem task cards, writing prompts, cursive handwriting worksheets, science 4-part cards with definitions, and much more. The addition of this added technology in the classroom will also help aid in their academic achievement.
