This year I have 27 Bookworms in my class. They are asking questions, making guesses and getting messy. They are learning to read. They are learning to add and subtract. They are exploring the world. They are thriving in spite of the challenges in their lives- poverty, food instability and housing instability. We provide them with breakfast and lunch. We offer them an extended learning day. We provide intervention and enrichment. We plant the fertile ground that lets our Bookworms blossom into butterflies (go with it).

About my class
