As a new math interventionist, I need manipulatives to help students build number skills through hands-on games. Math manipulatives are things like blocks and counters that can be used in a variety of activities. Students learn best when they can engage actively in exploring concepts and solving problems. These math manipulatives will help Kindergarten through third-grade students learn counting, addition and subtraction, and place value in a fun-filled atmosphere. As a math interventionist, I work with small groups of students who need extra help in math. By using math manipulatives and playing cooperative games, my students will build their understanding of core concepts and increase their confidence as mathematicians.
