Our students use crayons and markers to bring their illustrations and projects to life. My first graders enjoy seeing their illustrated writing pieces on the bulletin board every month. During instruction, images on the smart board are used to help visual learners in the classroom. Our students would benefit from accessing images and pictures beyond a digital screen. My students benefit from visual games. A colored printer would enable me to print phonics and math games that would provide support for students who need the extra support. They would also feel proud of seeing pictures of them at work on the bulletin boards!
