My Classroom is a combination of offices, teacher classrooms, and outdoor classrooms. I represent part of the counseling department at our school. Our school has over 900 students Pre-K through fifth grade with varying needs. Our campus is a Title I campus that serves general education, bilingual, ESL, and special needs students. Our campus is considered to be economically disadvantaged and 75% of our students are on free and reduced lunch. Our community was recently effected by Hurricane Harvey and that has produced it's own set of struggles. The mission of our school and counseling program is to have innovative counseling interventions and classroom interventions that assist the Whole Child in learning.
