Hi there! I am a K-5 EC Resource Specialist and Chairperson for my school. My school is in a rural area and the students I serve come from low income homes. The students I serve all have learning disabilities which vary in ability level as well as areas of need. I have some students who function well with math for instance but struggle tremendously in areas of reading comprehension and writing skills. My classroom contains a ton of outdated resources which are not conducive to the learning of 21st century students at this time. Some of the students I serve also have behavioral challenges which impact their ability to stay on task and cope with their anger.
