My class needs a reading table. The table we use now is not a good fit for reading. It is rectangular and too short in height and length. We need a table that is circular so students can hear each other read and see each other when discussing a story or skill. They need more space at the reading table for when we do writing or when we use manipulatives to work on literacy skills. A kidney shape table will aid students in learning from one another and help provide the space necessary for literacy activities. This grant would support the reading development of my students.
