These Magna-tiles will be used throughout the year during our morning arrival, STEM activities, math activities, and choice time. They would allow my students to build, explore, and problem solve. We can explore shapes, angles, and create letters and numbers. The Magna-tiles will also provide an opportunity for my English Language Learner students to identify geometric objects while building. The pocket chart would provide space for literacy and Morning Meeting activities to take place. A pocket chart could be used for songs, finger plays, sight words, word families, number/ABC order centers, etc. These Magna-tiles can create a positive, hands on learning experience.
