These materials will help my students gain knowledge about the American Revolution. I will be able to challenge my students with both fiction and nonfiction texts. They will be able to use the nonfiction text to gain background knowledge, which will help my students comprehend the fictional novels that I have chosen about the American Revolution. My students will be able to dig deeper into the American Revolution by expanding their knowledge on this topic. They will then be able to use what they have learned about the American Revolution and choose an event that interests them and research it further.
