This year I have the privilege of serving our Diverse Learners. These students are eager to learn new ways to calm down, take turns in conversations, and play safely with one another. This all takes place while the students learn new math skills, read new and exciting books, as well as take on science projects. The students of our school are of both African American and Hispanic descent. 99% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. While all of this sounds great, it is extremely hard to do this with the current budget cuts. Even with this happening my students still come to school with smiles on their faces and ready to learn.
