The iPad will be used for recording, documenting students learning, discoveries and inquiry process. Having this device will give them opportunities to explore their role in a digital 21st century learning environment. Students benefit when they are able to record their ideas and then reflect on what they see and hear. It is powerful for students to hear themselves sharing their ideas and then thinking about what they have said with the ability to edit. This type of learning fosters independence and creativity. Student work can be archived easily, which allows students to see the process of learning. With this technology students can share and network with other students and family members to expand the borders of the classroom.
