Due to the pandemic that we are dealing with, students cannot share any tools or instruments. We also cannot sing unless we are masked and ten feet apart. With sometimes fifteen children in a class, this really limits what we can do in the music room. Bucket drumming is an excellent way to reinforce music literacy, and our school needs enough drum sticks so that every student can safely participate. With this project, every student can have their own set of drum sticks that can be sanitized after each class. With these tools my students can see some semblance of normalcy in their music class.
