Make children have a love for learning and introduce STEM projects. Students investigate the processes that build volcanoes, the factors that influence different eruption types, and the threats volcanoes pose to their surrounding communities. They use what they have learned to identify physical features and eruption types of several actual volcanic episodes. The goals and objectives students will learn include: understand what volcanoes are, how they form, and the rocks they create! The students will also create a notebook of volcano characteristics Lastly the students will use acquired knowledge to identify several types of modern volcanic eruptions around the world. These materials will be used for my students to create a science experience to investigate volcanoes. They will have a hands-on-experiences conducting science where they will follow the scientific method.
