TIME Edge is an on-line program that gives students access to several genres of texts that they will use as companions to build their literacy skills. Students can be assigned articles on their Lexile levels and work to build reading, vocabulary, writing, and comprehension skills. Literacy is the foundation for success in school and, in today's society, for success in life. This program can be used across content areas to support content knowledge or assigned based on student interest. It will allow me to differentiate instruction appropriately for the individual needs of all of my students while they learn more about the world around them and engage in meaningful reading opportunities.
