Students have always needed frequent opportunities to get up and move during the day, but due to the pandemic, learning now looks different for so many of my students. Gone are the days where students can roam around the classroom freely, using shared manipulatives as they please, and working in small groups with their classmates. Most of the students participated in e-learning this year and became accustomed to being super comfortable while learning and I want to extend that into our classroom setting. This flexible seating will allow them to get their wiggles out while maximizing learning as their confined to a limited amount of space in our socially distanced classroom.
