We are creating a sensory section for our autistic students. Our school is not equipped to provide for them. We as teachers need help creating a happy environment for them on a daily basis. We need (lights, chairs, games, and pillows) to create the perfect atmosphere. These items are needed to create the perfect sensory section so that our students can release and use all their senses appropriately. The district does not provide us with the proper items needed to teach our students and we as teachers are striving to have a successful year. They have to be engaged and we need help obtaining some of the items to occupy their minds and time. We would sincerely appreciate any donations to our classroom.
