When I left teaching math 10 years ago to become a LMS, I left all my resources at the school. This year the school because of funding lost their library and I went back to teaching math in another district. I'm trying to replenish some of the wonderful resources I had before leaving. I have some very bright students who sometimes take a little longer to grasp a concept. We have the time allocated in the schedule (100 minutes), but I'm looking for fun interactive activities to keep them on task without burning them out. Our technology is somewhat limited (not available in the classroom), so I'm looking for nontech activities that get them moving and keep them interested. They are freshmen who still cannot sit for very long periods of time. Which is ok, I don't like sitting for long periods of time either. I want to get them up, moving, and learning Algebra.
