The Modern Band (a.k.a, "Jam Band") course that I created this year has been incredibly popular at our school, with over 60 kids attempting to sign up for the first trimester. The addition of a bass amp, an electric guitar and amp, as well as an iPad, will allow more students opportunities to participate in our Modern Band course, which focuses primarily on guitar, bass, drums and electronic beat-making on the iPad. Currently, students have to rotate instruments since we do not have enough to provide one instrument per student. These materials will allow students to be part of the music-making for the entire class!
