One of my goals as a teacher is for my students to develop a joy for reading. Who doesn't love to snuggle up in a cozy spot and enjoy a book by their favorite author? My current classroom has plenty of tables, desks and chairs (traditional classroom seating) but I am looking to give my students options for reading in quiet and cozy places in the classroom. This will give my students an opportunity to find a spot that meets their personal needs as well as foster their reading stamina. I want to create life long readers who can independently choose the reading environment that works best for them. I feel these beanbag chairs, pillows, and seats will help create a comfortable and cozy reading environment for my "KinderGators".
