At the beginning of every art class the students enter my room and gather at the front of the room. Currently the students sit on the cold, hard tile floor. By having a gathering “magic carpet” the students will be able to come in and sit on a comfortable surface. With the carpet, each student will be assigned a consistent square in the rug design so there is no lost time deciding where to sit each class period. The carpet will allow for more time to learn, transforming their creativity and imagination into amazing art projects. Your generous donation to our project will improve our school by building stronger artists. They will no longer have to worry about being cold or uncomfortable and can focus more attentively on the art lesson. This will enhance their art experience. Students will be able to create personal masterpieces allowing them to feel successful accomplishing their goals.
