Many of my students come to me not knowing their letters or the sounds letters make. The letters and sounds can be a challenge for my non-English speakers to learn. With these supplies, my students will not only learn their letter, but also beginning word sounds and then how to correctly make and form the letters. These supplies will be introduced to the class then placed in a learning center where the students have the opportunity go every day. In these centers students will be able to learn through exploring. They will form letters with the dough in the sensory center, sort pictures in the pocket chart center and build letters in building center.
