Cameras are the gateway to a new world for my students. Currently, our yearbook staff has one camera for 25 students. In order to run a successful yearbook staff, it's essential that the students have the necessary materials at their disposal. Cameras are the key to ensuring that all students are able to actively participate in the yearbook creation process. As well, the students would gain deeper connections with their school mates through their photographic journeys. Cameras are important not only to the yearbook process, but also for their required class curriculum. Students will travel around the school, to extracurricular activities, and outside on the community examining the world around them.
