My classroom is a safe place for photography, yearbook & art students to collaborate and incorporate creativity into their daily lives. I teach 7 different classes a day, so my students get to experience a wide variety of artwork, ideas & opinions from their peers. We work digitally and in the darkroom to give students the chance to problem solve daily at a challenging level. My students are tremendously hard-working and take pride in being able to buy their own supplies as most have their own jobs. They strive to add to the culture of our school and thrive in peer-teaching with computers, cameras & in the darkroom. They take ownership of their classroom and are very protective of the environment in which they have worked so hard to create.
