I believe that using technology in the classroom enhances instruction and prepares students for college as well as making them globally competitive. Students who utilize technology on a daily basis are at an advantage to be college ready more quickly as well as having more research opportunities at their fingertips. I believe the iPad is a wonderful motivational tool which can enhance my lesson planning and is essential in small group instruction. Students learn more effectively in a small group setting which allows me to meet the needs of all my students including students with IEPs and ELLs. I have 2 already and require 8 more for my small group literacy center. Thank you.
