Learning a stringed instrument is the most enlightening and demanding musical task that a student can take on. Help our students experience high-level learning by providing them with a quality cello, which will be used in general music and select ensembles. Middle school and late-elementary students will apply this instrument to formal performing and theory-learning, while our youngest students will experience it through lessons about timbre, pitch range and culture. In all cases, this instrument will provide unique, space-saving opportunities for students to develop aural skills and to understand cultural dynamics. Students with instrumental experience demonstrate elevated levels of concentration, school attendance, academic performance and social sensitivity. Thank you, greatly, for your support.
